Pickett, Lemon lead Bradley by Indiana State 80-68

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Tyshon Pickett and Walt Lemon Jr. scored 17 points apiece and Bradley dominated the second half in a 45-30 victory over Indiana State on Saturday afternoon.

Dyricus Simms-Edwards added 13 points off the bench, and Will Egolf had 12, for the Braves (15-12, 7-8 Missouri Valley), who outscored Indiana State 45-30 and shot 60 percent from the floor after halftime.

Dawon Cummings scored 19 off the bench for the Sycamores (16-10, 9-6). R.J. Mahurin and Jake Odum chipped in 14 points each.

Lucas Eitel’s 3-pointer with 2:35 left in the first half put Indiana State ahead 36-29, but Bradley cut it to 38-35 at halftime on Lemon’s layup at the buzzer. The Braves took the lead for good with a 13-2 run early in the second half.

Lemon’s point total left him with 1,009 in his career and made him the 46th Bradley player to reach 1,000 career points.
