WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Keith Rendleman notched his fifth straight double-double as UNC Wilmington knocked off Colonial Athletic Association-leading Northeastern 73-67 Saturday night.

Rendleman scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his 16th double-double this season as the Seahawks (10-16, 5-9) snapped a two-game skid and avenged a 68-64 loss to Northeastern on Jan. 5.

The Huskies (17-10, 12-3) have dropped consecutive games for the first time since mid-December.

Northeastern’s Joel Smith, the reigning CAA Player of the Week, returned from the ankle injury that sidelined him against Delaware Wednesday. He played only 16 minutes and missed all five of his shots, accruing no points.

The lead changed hands four times in the second half, with Rendleman’s three-point play giving UNC Wilmington a decisive 59-58 advantage with 3:08 left. The points came amid an 11-1 Seahawks run that built a 67-59 lead.

Quincy Ford paced the Huskies with 23 points and nine rebounds.
