Grateful that officers serve, protect

I thank God for the excellent and professional work done by the Vancouver and Clark County law enforcement. They have put a lot of time and study into the work of saving lives and protecting our citizens. They are to be commended.

After the ship has sunk, there are hundreds who will tell you how it might have been saved. But these men and women are out there on the front lines in the heat of the battle. They have families at home. They want to go home alive, too. Sometimes they are called upon to make drastic choices, at a moment’s notice. Their track record is enviable. Bravo.
