SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) -- Dylan Royer's 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining gave Cal Poly a 63-60 victory against Loyola Marymount in a BracketBusters game on Saturday night.

Brian Bennett scored 23 points and Chris Eversley 13 for the Mustangs (13-12). Royer had 12 points, and his decisive shot was just the second make in 18 3-point attempts by Cal Poly.

Anthony Ireland had 19 points and Taylor Walker 12 for the Lions (8-20), who suffered a buzzer-beater loss for the second straight game and third time this month.

Loyola took a 60-57 lead on Chase Flint's 3-pointer with 1:47 remaining. The Mustangs tied it on Eversley's three-point play with just over a minute to play.

Cal Poly regained possession, and the ball was deflected by the Lions out of bounds and under the basket with 2.7 seconds left. Royer came off a curl as Walker slipped on the floor, leaving Royer wide open.
