Central Park — Mary Lou Moser got a surprise at a Clark College men’s basketball game that honored her late husband, the former college spokesman. During halftime at Bob Moser Night on Feb. 16, Mary Lou looked out into a crowd with masks of her husband’s face as she proudly accepted a basketball signed by players. As a salute to the devoted college employee who died at 82 in December, the Clark College Foundation made Bob Moser masks for the audience to don at halftime. Moser, who was known to have a sense of humor about himself, created the Robert Moser Society in the ’90s, bringing together as many other namesakes as he could from around the country for regular gatherings. There was even a society newsletter.
