Veterans are Valentines for Camp Fire girls
Central Park: Girls in local Camp Fire USA clubs The Soaring Butterflies and The USA Polar Bears -- including Adeline Johnston, from left, Delaney Rice, Maegan Davidson, Meena Mortazavi, Leslie Wright and Clara Johnston -- show love to veterans during their February Salute to Hospitalized Veterans. The girls made and delivered Valentine's Day cards on Feb. 9 to veterans at the Vancouver campus of the Portland VA Medical Center.

Central Park — Camp Fire USA girls shared some love with hospitalized veterans this month when they created and personally delivered Valentine's Day cards to the Vancouver campus of the Portland VA Medical Center. The Feb. 9 efforts of local Camp Fire clubs The Soaring Butterflies and The USA Polar Bears were part of the national Salute to Hospitalized Veterans. The girls in the clubs also made two large posters, which they hung in the halls of the VA center.
