TUKWILA, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Sounders have big expectations for the upcoming season.
The goal is reaching the MLS Cup final for the first time in franchise history.
To try and accomplish that goal, a year after falling a game short in the Western Conference final against Los Angeles, the Sounders are going into the season with a roster that is still in flux after an offseason that’s seen significant changes.
Seattle may have the deepest midfield in the league and a potent offense. But it will still be getting settled when Seattle opens the season Saturday night hosting Montreal.
