MEN’S BASKETBALL

Record: 7-2. Streak: Won 4.

This week: Host South Puget Sound (3-6), 8 p.m. Wednesday; at Highline (5-5), 3 p.m. Saturday.

Last week: Beat Umpqua 91-66.

Of note: The Penguins have the highest winning percentage among the NWAACC West Division teams (.778) after the non-league portion of the schedule.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Record: 2-8. Streak: Lost 2.

This week: Host South Puget Sound (1-7), 6 p.m. Wednesday; at Highline (6-5), 1 p.m. Saturday.

Last week: No games, holiday break.

Of note: The Penguins open NWAACC West Division action on Wednesday, playing the first game of a doubleheader with the men’s team at the O’Connell Center.
