Djokovic loses to Tomic in Hopman Cup

PERTH, Australia (AP) -- Top-ranked Novak Djokovic lost to Bernard Tomic 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday, allowing Australia to take a 1-0 lead over Serbia at the Hopman Cup.
Tomic put pressure on Djokovic from the opening game, holding five break points, and faced just one break point against him.
Teenager Ashleigh Barty will attempt to seal the victory for Australia when she plays Ana Ivanovic.
