YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) -- Guard Miranda Tate has been dismissed from Eastern Michigan's basketball team for an unspecified violation of team policy.
The 5-foot-11 senior was the team's leading scorer at 12.9 points per game. The school announced her dismissal in a news release Wednesday and said it would have no further comment.
Eastern Michigan (2-10) hosts Loyola of Chicago on Saturday.
