Teen praises teacher, wins pizza

Battle Ground -- A note written by eighth-grader Kalyn Uskoski explaining why Tukes Valley Middle School history teacher James Hendrickson is "the best" was chosen as the winner of Pritchard Orthodontics' Fall for Your Teacher Contest. Uskoski won a pizza party Dec. 11 for her class. "We salute teachers like Mr. Hendrickson. They make a difference in our children's lives every single day," a Pritchard press release said.
