C-tran bus involved in minor hit-and-run collision

A C-tran bus was involved in a minor hit-and-run accident with a vehicle Thursday morning, according to agency spokesman Scott Patterson.
The 40-foot-long bus was taking a right turn from Northeast 50th Street onto Northeast St. Johns Road when a vehicle traveling behind the bus collided with the bus, Patterson said.
The report was made about 7 a.m. after the bus driver did not stop.
“The driver just didn’t register (what happened),” Patterson said. He said there was no damage to the bus.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and Sgt. Fred Neiman said that the agency won't release any information until police have spoken with the bus driver.
