OHSU offers writing workshops for cancer patients

The Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University is offering free creative writing workshops for men and women diagnosed with cancer.
The workshop offer a confidential and relaxed setting to write stories that encourage health and healing, according to OHSU.
The workshops will be held weekly.
The men’s group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Fridays, Jan. 11 through March 15, at the Center for Health & Healing, third floor conference room, 3303 S.W. Bond Ave.
The women’s group will meet from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 15 through March 19, at the Center for Women’s Health, Kohler Pavilion, seventh floor, 808 S.W. Campus Drive.
