Betis beats Zaragoza in Spanish league

ZARAGOZA, Spain (AP) — Ruben Castro and Jorge Molina scored to help Real Betis beat Real Zaragoza 2-1 on Friday for its third straight victory in the Spanish league.

Betis pulled even with fourth-place Malaga, two points behind third-place Real Madrid.

Paco Montanes scored for Zaragoza.

The match was the first in the league after a two-week winter break.
