WSUV chancellor will speak at MLK breakfast

Mel Netzhammer, the new chancellor at Washington State University Vancouver, will speak on the subject "Education Equity" during the third annual Dr. Martin Luther King breakfast.

The event is organized by Deena Pierott and her nonprofit organization Urban Spark. Proceeds will benefit the iUrban Teen Technology Program, exposing under-served youths to careers in technology.

The breakfast is set for 8 a.m. Jan. 12 at the Heathman Lodge, 7801 Northeast Greenwood Drive in Vancouver (near Westfield Vancouver mall). Tickets are $55 and up. To learn more and buy tickets, visit http://inclusionist.com.
