Denver routs Texas-San Antonio 75-50

DENVER (AP) — Marcus Byrd had 12 points as Denver defeated Texas-San Antonio 75-50 on Sunday.

The Pioneers (7-7, 3-1 WAC) have won three in a row. Denver made 14 3-pointers in the game, with nine players having at least one.

Chase Hallam had 11 points and five steals for Denver. He led the Pioneers with three 3-pointers. Royce O’Neale had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, and Chris Udofia also had 10 points.

Denver shot 53 percent from the field and led 68-28 with 7:40 to play.

Jeromie Hill had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead the Roadrunners (4-10, 0-4). UTSA shot 33 percent.
