Hudson's Bay -- Clark County Quilters crafted two circus-themed quilts the club hopes will bring in thousands when raffled off in April. Each year the Quilters club makes a quilt and raffles it off for charity. This year they designed two and decided to have proceeds from the raffle ticket sale go to the Vancouver Police Department's K-9 program. Raffle tickets are $1 and can be purchased from The Quilter at 808 S.E. Chkalov Drive, Fiddlesticks at 2701 N.E. 114th Ave., or Country Manor at 7702 N.E. 179th St., Battle Ground. The drawing will be held April 6. "Everyone is interested in the K-9 unit, this is a way to participate and support them," wrote Quilters member Bonnie Burns in an email.
