Letter: Light rail ruins the view
Friday, January 11, 2013
The photograph on the front page of the Jan. 5 Columbian is the reason that all thinking people should reject light rail. The number of automobiles that it will take off of the road really doesn't matter; most riders of these light rail monstrosities don't drive cars.
This photograph of a MAX light rail train approaching a stop says it all. It is an ugly view of what our beautiful vistas will look like if we agree to these horrible trains and overhead lines.
