Girls basketball: Castle Rock 56, Columbia River 52

Columbia River cut an 18-point fourth-quarter deficit down to four points in the final minute but could get no closer in a non-game against Castle Rock.

“Our girls turned it on in the last five minutes, pressed like crazy, made some shots,” River coach Carl Click said. “We just ran out of time.”

Kim Lowery led River with 23 points, making five 3-pointers.
