Stephen F. Austin defeats Oral Roberts 61-50

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Antonio Bostic scored 16 points and Stephen F. Austin defeated Oral Roberts 61-50 Saturday night, taking sole possession of first place in the Southland Conference.

Bostic was 4 of 8 from the field. Desmond Haymon had 15 points and Hal Bateman added 10 for the Lumberjacks (14-1, 5-0), who have won nine consecutive games. Jacob Parker and Taylor Smith had seven rebounds apiece.

Stephen F. Austin led 27-21 at halftime. The Lumberjacks shot 46.7 percent from the field for the game, while the Golden Eagles shot 37.5 percent. The Lumberjacks had 34 rebounds, but the Golden Eagles had 32.

D.J. Jackson had 13 points to lead to Golden Eagles (8-8, 3-1). Damen Bell-Holter had 10 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles are in their first season as a member of the Southland.

The Lumberjacks extended their streak to 47 consecutive games of holding opponents under 70 points.
