RENO, Nev. (AP) — Leonard Washington had 16 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday and Wyoming came back from its first loss of the season to defeat Nevada 59-48.

Riley Grabau added 12 points for the Cowboys (14-1, 1-1), who lost their Mountain West opener to Boise State on a 3-pointer at the buzzer Wednesday night.

Deonte Burton scored 23 points to lead Nevada (9-7, 0-2), which lost for only the second time in 10 home games this season.

Burton was 8 of 13 from the field, but his Wolf Pack teammates were just 10 for 49, or 20 percent.

Nevada led 20-17 at halftime, but Grabau hit three of his four 3-pointers in the second half and the Cowboys made 68 percent from the field overall after the break. They finished at 47 percent.
