STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) — Dave Coley tied a career high with 21 points and Tommy Brenton posted his 20th double-double in Stony Brook’s 75-48 rout of Boston University on Tuesday for its fifth straight win.

Brenton (10 rebounds) and Jameel Warney each scored 12 points. Warney, a freshman, pulled down a career-high 14 boards for Stony Brook (13-4), which is off to a 4-0 start in America East Conference play for the second consecutive season.

Boston (8-10, 2-3) led 11-4 early but 14 straight points by Stony Brook gave the Seawolves an 18-11 advantage. The Terriers cut the deficit to 28-25 but a Brenton three-point play ignited an 11-0 spurt for Stony Brook over the final 4 minutes of the half.

Stony Brook, which led 39-25 at the break, extended its lead to 21, 47-26, on Coley’s second 3-pointer of the night 1:30 into the second half.

Dom Morris led Boston with 11 points.
