Holy Cross cruises to 62-47 win over Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Dave Dudzinski had his second double-double of the season and Malcolm Miller posted his first as Holy Cross cruised to a 62-47 win over Navy on Wednesday night in Patriot League action.

Dudzinski finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Miller had 13 points and 13 boards for the Crusaders (9-8, 1-1), who have won two of their last three games.

Holy Cross, which pulled ahead early, led 31-27 at intermission before opening the second half with a 9-2 burst.

After the Midshipmen (6-12, 0-2) closed the gap to five, at 43-38 with 11:53 remaining, Jordan Stevens answered with a 3-pointer. Holy Cross pushed the lead into double figures with 5:48 to go en route to its fifth straight win over Navy.

The Crusaders had a 36-23 advantage on the glass.

Worth Smith scored 17 points to lead the Midshipmen, who have lost six games in a row.
