Isaiah Smith had 13 points and nine rebounds and Bryan Wyche scored all 12 of his points in four first-half 3-pointers as River took control of a 3A GSHL contest.

The win moved Columbia River one win away from clinching at least a share of the 3A GSHL title and the No. 1 seed to the district tournament.

Devin Bolds added seven points, seven assists and two steals for River.

“Bay defends well,” River coach David Long said. “They pack in that zone really hard and make it hard to get the ball inside, which is where we want to go with the ball. So you’ve got to be able to shoot the ball from the perimeter to beat Bay, and fortunately tonight we did.”
