GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Jordan Fouse led a balance Green Bay attack with 12 points and nine rebounds, helping the Phoenix defeat Youngstown State 67-58 Thursday night.
Carrington Love and Brennan Cougill added 11 points apiece and Keifer Sykes had 10 for Green Bay (9-9, 3-2 Horizon), which has won six of its last eight games.
Kendrick Perry led Youngstown State (9-8, 1-3) with 21 points, and Blake Allen added 10.
Green Bay made just 1 of 6 3-point attempts and had 16 turnovers, but shot 45 percent overall from the field, hit 24 of 30 free throws and outrebounded the Penguins 40-31.
Youngstown State led by as many as eight in the first half before Green Bay tied it up 25-25 at the break. The Phoenix used a 15-1 run midway through the second half to take a 49-36 lead with 5:45 left in the game.
