Boys basketball: Hockinson 55, Ridgefield 48

Wyatt Yearout hit a big 3-pointer with one minute left, and the visiting Hawks secured the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League win with free throws from there.

Yearout’s key 3-pointer put Hockinson (9-7, 3-1) ahead by four points. He led the balanced Hawks offense with 13 points, and Taylor Ellensohn added 12.

David Potter scored 17 points for Ridgefield (7-9, 1-3) and A.J. Olson added 13.
