MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins have agreed to terms with left-hander Brian Duensing and backup catcher Drew Butera to one-year contracts, ensuring that all of their arbitration-eligible players are signed for 2013.

The Twins agreed with Duensing, who has been both a starter and reliever in his four seasons in Minnesota, on a $1.3 million deal. Duensing went 4-12 with a 5.12 ERA last season. He started eight games, but spent most of his time as a left-handed specialist out of the bullpen.

Butera and the Twins agreed on a $700,000 deal. Butera earned a spot on his team strictly for his defense and his work with the pitching staff. He hit .198 with one home run in 42 games last season.
