The nonprofit Vancouver Food Co-op Grocery, 1002 Main St., now accepts electronic benefit transfer cards and has extended its hours. The store also has a new logo and is scheduled for a face-lift through the improvement program run by Vancouver’s Downtown Association, said Kirk White, president of the member-owned store.

The Vancouver Food Co-op, established in 2006, says it now has approximately 400 members. It launched an online store in 2010 and opened a grocery story in downtown Vancouver in 2011. The grocery offers local, organic foods, including fresh produce and meats, to the co-op members and the public. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Monday.
