Robbers steal medical marijuana from Portland grow house

PORTLAND — Police are looking for robbers who beat a man with a handgun and stole medical marijuana from a legal grow house in Portland.
The victim was on the back porch of the house in the Montavalla neighborhood Sunday morning when he was attacked by two men who entered the house. They took pounds of the processed drug and ran to a waiting car.
The victim was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A woman who was inside the house at the time locked herself inside a bathroom until the robbers left.
Investigators confirmed the house is a legal medical marijuana grow site.
