Boys basketball: Union 52, Battle Ground 36

The Titans held the Tigers to a 3-for-27 performance from 3-point range in the Class 4A GSHL victory.

“We shot so many bricks we built a new gym and we invite everybody to come see it,” Battle Ground coach Greg Kalian said. “Union came out with a lot more energy and played like the team they are.”

Tyler Copp led Union with 14 points, while Micah Paulson added 10.

Jamie Ford topped Battle Ground with 10 points.

Union led 16-13 through one quarter but outscored the Tigers 25-9 over the middle two periods.
