Vancouver Public Schools will host a technology site visit of the National School Boards Association May 1-3. The school district is one of four nationwide recognized for outstanding technology initiatives.
The technology site visits will give education professionals the opportunity to see firsthand the best ways to use technology in schools. The other districts are in Miami, Fla.; Arlington Heights, Ill., and Emmaus, Pa. Vancouver is the only district in the U.S. chosen three times.
The district offers nearly two dozen programs of choice including Vancouver iTech Preparatory, its new early college, STEM magnet school that provides a technology-rich environment for middle and high school students.
