Letter: Constitution is clear on guns

There have been so many letters from citizens concerning the issue of gun control that I want to point something out. First of all, Americans don’t need any reason at all to own firearms. The Constitution guarantees our right to do so. If I choose to buy a handgun or a semi-automatic rifle or shotgun, I am under no obligation to explain or justify the purchase.

Accessories for firearms fall into the same category.

To those of you who have no interest in firearms, I offer this comparison: What if you wanted to purchase a luxury car but were told you could only buy a compact automobile?
