Letter: Syrian rebels have violent history
Friday, January 25, 2013
The Syrian government is portrayed as the bad party in its conflict with rebels, and horror stories are spread in Western nations. But the only way to really know what is happening for sure is to stop and look at the principles in the issue. Anyone can come up with a horror story.
The nations that support the Syrian rebels are the same crooked nations that supported Saddam Hussein during the absolute criminal Iraqi invasion of Iran. The crooked nations include France, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and others. The invasion killed a million innocent people, and was similar in principle to the type launched by Nazis during World War II.
The Syrian rebels are not peaceful. They are violent militants that are trying to overthrow a government. Most of them are Sunnis and were supporters of Saddam Hussein. Syria was one of the few nations that took a stand against Hussein. It has a high-principled foreign policy and is being attacked by crooks.
France was the main supporter of Hussein's crimes of mass murder. Its leaders have never been prosecuted. Not only should French officials be prosecuted, but also those in Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and the European Union.
