WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Joe Willman and Bryson Johnson each scored 16 points to lead Bucknell to a 65-58 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Cameron Ayers finished with 15 points for the Bison (17-4, 4-1 Patriot League), who have won four of their last five games. Mike Muscala recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Bucknell never trailed after halftime and led by as many as nine points, but had trouble pulling away from Holy Cross in the second half. The Crusaders cut the deficit to four points when Phil Beans made a jumper with 2:29 left to play.

However, Holy Cross (10-10, 2-3) was unable to pull closer. The Bison responded with five straight points to give themselves enough cushion to hold on to the victory.

Dave Dudzinski scored 26 points and Justin Burrell added 11 points for the Crusaders, who lost their second consecutive game.
