Letter: No to special meals at the jail
Tuesday, January 29, 2013
This is in response to the Jan. 21 story "Are jail meal requests kosher?," regarding special meals for some prisoners.
In my opinion, they have two choices — either eat the same meals as everyone else or do not go to jail as a result of your own actions.
We cannot afford a difference of approximately $166,000 per year for this special treatment. If you're hungry enough, you will eat.
