A Ridgefield High School student rolled her Honda Civic off the road in Ridgefield on Tuesday morning.
Clark County Fire & Rescue was dispatched to Northwest Hillhurst Road and Northwest 31st Avenue at 11:13 a.m.
Even though she rolled her car, the teen only had minor injuries, said Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy, spokesman for CCF&R.
“I really attribute it to her wearing her seat belt,” Dawdy said. “That makes a huge difference in that kind of accident.”
Superintendent of Ridgefield Public Schools, Art Edgerly, went to the accident scene to check on the student, whose name was not released.
As a precaution, the teen was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center for evaluation.
