The state Public Disclosure Commission found that a political committee supporting a 2008 school bond issue in Evergreen Public Schools failed to report two 2008 expenditures in a timely manner.

The PDC’s presiding officer found at a Jan. 24 hearing that Evergreen Citizens for Schools failed to report $5,500 for a survey conducted by Conkling, Fiskum & McCormick in October 2008 and $9,681 for advertising in The Columbian in May 2008.

The presiding officer assessed a civil penalty of $500, but he suspended $300 on the condition that the committee is not found to have committed any further violations within four years of the date of the order.
