Hudson’s Bay High School students will have a candlelight vigil for their classmate Doug Combs at 5 p.m. Friday near the corner of East 20th and C streets in downtown Vancouver. Combs, a suspect in a shooting and two robberies, was fatally shot by police near the intersection last Friday night.

East 20th Street will be closed from Main Street to Broadway starting at 4 p.m.

Awesome Flowers is donating flowers to the vigil and another local business is donating 180 candles. Community members are welcome to attend.
