Suspect arrested in Yakima Canyon slayings

YAKIMA — A Yakima man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two men whose bodies were found Dec. 21 in a car off the road in Yakima River Canyon.
KNDO reports officers arrested Troy Whalen on Wednesday night at his home for a murder investigation.
Police say cellphone records indicate he had a role in killing 35-year-old Ryan Pederson and 37-year-old Michael Eby.
Both had been shot. Pederson’s body was found in the back seat of the car and Eby’s in the trunk.
