Hazel Dell Lions roar into another year

Hazel Dell — Larry Hansen, longtime member of the Hazel Dell Lions Club, was picked to lead the local organization as president during the club’s annual banquet June 19. Hansen replaces outgoing president Roxie Olsen. The group elected its new slate of officers during the dinner and also presented numerous awards to its members. Hazel Dell Lion Jim Johnston and Vancouver Dawn Lion David Fuller were named the club’s new Melvin Jones Fellows, the highest recognition a member can receive. The award was named after the founder of Lions Clubs International.
