WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Nationals have activated catcher Wilson Ramos from the disabled list and optioned catcher Jhonatan Solano to Triple-A Syracuse.
Ramos was listed in the starting lineup for Thursday’s Fourth of July matinee against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ramos missed 44 games because of a strained left hamstring. He was batting .250 with two home runs and six RBIs before he was injured.
Solano hit .167 with two RBIs in 16 games with Washington.
