Letter: Officials failed at building solution

The Columbian
Published: July 4, 2013, 5:00pm

With the “implosion” of the Columbia River Crossing project, our political representatives should be hanging their heads in shame. Those who have taken the position of either “build, build, build” or “no, no, no,” as far as I am concerned should be looking for another job.

Our representatives’ job, whether local, state or federal, is to find and build solutions, not to stand on their political roadblock positions at all costs. Are they listening?
