Letter: Nothing excuses funding big payout

I could not believe it when I read the outrageous settlement given to Shonny Bria, former superintendent for Battle Ground Public Schools, in an amount exceeding $400,000. It seems strange that it was only six days after the school levy passed that Bria announced her retirement (it was reported she was asked to leave). Every member of the Battle Ground school board who approved this fiasco should be terminated immediately and replaced by people who have common sense and integrity. I hope voters remember this betrayal when there is another levy asking for funds.
