Clark College will be closed to the public starting at noon Fridays from July 19 through Aug. 30. Friday afternoon closures include offices at the main campus, the Clark Center at WSU Vancouver, the Columbia Tech Center and the Continuing Education Center in downtown Vancouver. Instructional classes and programs offered by Corporate and Continuing Education will continue as scheduled.
Clark adopted the summer schedule last year in response to temporary budget cuts. This summer the college is continuing summer hours to take advantage of the efficiencies gained by setting aside dedicated time for staff in areas such as financial aid and admissions to process applications and awards, said Bob Williamson, vice president of administrative services.
