Gwangju, Budapest to host swimming worlds

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — The world swimming federation has named Gwangju, South Korea, as host of the 2019 swimming world championships, and Budapest, Hungary, as host for 2021.

Barcelona is hosting the 15th edition of the biennial competition, which starts Saturday.

The 2015 worlds will be held in Kazan, Russia. Guadalajara is scheduled to host the 2017 event, but FINA president Julio Maglione said Thursday that it could be moved to another Mexican city.
