Letter: Court has stripped protections

The U.S. Supreme Court’s removal of an important pillar of the Voting Rights Act, coupled with voter suppression, gerrymandering, roll purges, I.D. laws, registration hurdles, disinformation, early voting cutbacks, unequal resources, and caging lists will aid the GOP with state-by-state election rigging.

In my opinion, this decision will do great harm to the progress made in voting rights and social justice over the past 40 years.
