PORTLAND — A spokesman for Multnomah County says Board Chairman Jeff Cogen is returning to work Monday.
Spokesman David Austin told The Oregonian that Cogan would return to work around noon but would not talk with reporters.
Cogen has been off work since Tuesday when he admitted having an inappropriate affair with a county Health Department employee.
Cogen has denied helping Sonia Manhas win a promotion last year to the job of director of policy and planning. The job opening and her projects were mentioned in nearly 700 pages of email released Friday that went through his gov
