A Vancouver woman was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital after a one-car rollover crash on Interstate 5 Sunday afternoon, approximately three miles south of Napavine.

Jerry E. Brower, 45, of Vancouver was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition southbound on Interstate 5 near Milepost 68 at 3:49 p.m. when the car traveling in front of him braked, according to the Washington State Patrol. Brower swerved to the right to avoid a collision, and the vehicle struck a ditch and rolled over.

One of Brower’s passengers, Madison Brower, 20, was transported to Providence, where she was treated and released. Jerry Brower and a 13-year-old passenger were not injured, according to the patrol. The Expedition was totaled and towed from the scene.

Brower will be cited for following too closely, the patrol said.– Wire services
