CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — NASCAR will return to NBC in 2015, ending its eight-year partnership with both ESPN and Turner Sports.

NASCAR announced a 10-year deal with NBC on Tuesday that gives the network the final 20 Sprint Cup races of the season, and the final 19 Nationwide Series races.

NBC will share the 38-race NASCAR schedule with Fox, which extended its contract with NASCAR last year. Turner currently has six races on the schedule, and ESPN carries 17 events. ESPN picks up its portion of the schedule this weekend at Indianapolis.

NBC shared the television contract with Fox from 2001-06 in the first national TV deal for NASCAR. ESPN picked up that portion of the schedule in 2007.

NBC and its NBC Sports Network now have rights to NASCAR, IndyCar and Formula One.
