NEW YORK (AP) — Cleveland Indians shortstop Rubiel Martinez and New York Yankees left-hander Anderson Severino have been suspended 50 games each by Major League Baseball following positive tests under the minor league drug program.

The commissioner’s office said Wednesday that both tested positive for metabolites of Stanozolol, an anabolic steroid. Martinez is on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Indians, and Severino is with the Dominican Summer League Yankees.

There have been 31 suspensions this year under the minor league program.
